15/52 - Eloise

15/52 - Lachlan

Eloise – That halfway point between a laugh and a cry.
Lachlan – His shock of blonde hair still amazes me, three years later.

There’s something about the morning light that streams through our dining room window: so bright and pure, painting my sweet babes faces with beautiful shadows.

15/52- Lachlan

15-52 - Eloise

A photo of my children, once a week, every week in 2014.

Lachlan – Eating, always eating. Any wonder the floor is never clean.
Eloise – We’ve started the weaning process and I’m not at all ready but it seems she is. So she waits patiently for her mashed pumpkin and then proceeds to spread it ALL OVER in that cute but terribly messy way baby’s have.

Lachlan – Telling me stories from the back of the car. Undoubtedly asking yet another question.
Eloise – Laughing at her brother telling stories, asking questions.

11/52 - Lachlan

11/52 - Eloise

A photo of my children, once a week, every week in 2014.

Lachlan – At his Kindy when a child has a birthday they make a special crown for the birthday boy or girl to wear for the day. One day after yet another birthday he came home and asked if we could make a crown. So we did. And he admired it in the grubby, finger-marked mirror.

Eloise – A sure sign she is tired and more than ready for bed. Whether or not this equates to actual sleep is anyone’s guess.
